Children's Behavior Technician 

Job Description:

  • Deliver one on one behavioral therapy in center, home, or community with continued guidance and education from our team of supervisors
  • BTS provides new RBT’s with a unique extensive training so they can deliver effective, applied behavioral analysis (ABA) treatment (60 to 80 hours)
  • Teaching children with autism how to talk, play, make friends, and function independently, while reducing any inappropriate behaviors
  • Participating in our Parent Enrichment Programs to train and guide our families on behavioral strategies to help their child
  • Following the behavioral program and collecting behavioral data on a company loaned technology device
  • Collaborate and engage with supervisor and fellow RBT’s in clinical team meetings to report and strategize on the client’s progress
  • Positions are part-time (up to 29 hrs/wk) with the opportunity to grow to full-time (30+ hrs/wk)

Requirements Entry Level:

  • Currently enrolled in a college/university or a has a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Passion to work with children and be part of a team
  • Availability to work part-time with a possibility of leading to full time, Monday-Friday, hours needed are 8:00am – 7:30pm
  • Ability to attend and complete our 40 to 60 hours of paid training consisting of online, in-class and in-field training
  • Must successfully pass FBI finger-printing, TB testing, and Drug Screening. (Reimburse for all but TB testing)
  • Energetic attitude and desire to help individuals with developmental disabilities succeed
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or Senior Behavior Therapist (2 years’ experience in ABA) a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Job Description:

As a Clinical Supervisor, you’ll play a central role in developing and delivering early intervention services, and treatments for children with developmental delays. Your responsibilities in this role include:

  • Conducts initial assessment of new clients; interviews and evaluates clients and family members
  • Develops and implements Behavior Intervention Plans, including the recording of progress notes and the provision of continuity of care
  • Participates in monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of client care, including writing reports and keeping caseworkers updated
  • Maintains records and makes written and oral reports concerning client care, counseling and therapeutic activities
  • Prepares reports and other documents concerning clients
  • Participate in client assessments
  • Directly observe treatment provided by RBTs and BTs
  • Supervise, and give feedback on, implementation of treatment
  • Monitor treatment integrity
  • Participate in and conduct employee evaluations
  • Implement structured and individualized treatment programs to teach language, play, social, daily living, and academic skills and to reduce challenging behaviors
  • Complies with company and department policies and procedures, quality assurance, safety, environmental, infection control and complies with requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies
  • Trains and ensures all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Attends and participates in staff development programs, department related conferences, and administrative meetings
  • Attends, participates in, monthly supervisor meetings
  • Represents Comprehensive Autism Center and Center-Based facility
  • responsibilities of organization and staff positions to accomplish business goals and objectives
  • and maintains appropriate network of professional contacts
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
  • Develop programs used by RBT’s to help families build the skills to participate in their child’s progress, and children the skills to lead happy, productive lives

Qualifications

  • We are looking for educated, experienced clinical professionals who bring extraordinary compassion and commitment to their work. Applicants should have the following qualifications:
  • Professional certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Master’s degree, preferably in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or Psychology.
  • 3-5 years of strong experiential background in ABA/Early Intervention services.
  • Experience in parent training, data collection, and goal development. Benefits
